1). Late Mr. R.K. Saiyed, Chairman, F.D. Education Society, received “Rajiv Gandhi Shiromani Award” from Global Economics Council, New Delhi, for  outstanding individual achievements and distinguished services to the nation. He was felicitated for this Award by the Society as well in a special function inviting H.E. the Governor of Gujarat,  Shri Nawal Kishore Sharma.  He was in Indian Administrative Service. He held various high posts, chiefly among which were (1) Secretary, Ministry of Communication, Govt. of India (2) Commissioner for Linguistic Minorities and (3) Advisor to H.E. The Governor of J& K. He had assumed office of the Chairman of this Society from 1-12-1996. He was a good Administrator, a good Educationist and a good Guide. His leadership has helped towards rapid and sound progress of the organization. He passed away on 18-5-2011.
